Frequently Asked Questions

How long my vide recorded presentation should be?
Since people will watch your recorded presentation at their convenient time, the Organizers do not impose requirements on duration of the recorded presentations but recommend to record about 20 min for a proposal, 30 min for a project and 45 min for a lecture. The speakers who provide videos of their presentations prior the conference will not need to repeat it at the conference session but will get 20 min to give a 5 min summary of the presentation and 15 min for Q&As.

Can I make presentation online, if I am not able to come to the conference?
Yes, we offer online presentation option to all participants as an alternative and plan web cast of the conference sessions. Please, indicate in the comment box at the registration page that you plan to make presentation online.

What type of presentations are invited for submission?
Two type of presentations are invited: 1) popular science lectures and tutorials (45 min), and 2) projects open for collaboration between US and Russian experts or between Russian-speaking experts in Russia and abroad (20 or 30 min).

How would I know that my presentation is accepted?
We add all accepted presentations at the speakers page.

What are the objectives of the conference?
Conference objectives include assistance in developing collaboration in education, research and technology innovations 1) between USA and Russia and 2) between Russian-speaking experts in Russia and abroad.
