Networking events

Conference Organizers are planning the following networking events:
Receptions on July 8th and 10th and poster session and reception on July 9th - all conference attendees and accompanied persons are invited, no reservation is required.

Excursion to the National Museum of Altai Republic

The excursion to the Museum will take place on July 10th at 3 pm. Among its rich art and archeological collection the Museum has also the mausoleum of the Princess of Ukok (Siberian Ice Maiden). The excursion is sponsored by the Government of Altai Republic.

Excursions offered at the tourist hotel Mnzherok

Hotel Manzherok offers a broad variety of excursions to its guests on a regular basis and by request. Below are listed a few, which are focused on magnificient Altai's nature. Please, conact the Organizers and/or Manzherok's personnel for details and arrangements.

• Katun River rafting – tours are available from tourist hotel Manzherok in various options: 12 km (2 hours), 25 km (3 hours), 35 km (6 hours), 45 km (6 hours)
• Mountain hiking - 3km from tourist hotel Manzherok
• Cable line at the ski resport “Manzherok” – 5km, nice view
• Cheremshansky waterfall - 7 km, nice view, easy hike 0,5 km
• Tandinskiye caves – 14 km, archeological site
• Lake Aya - 17 km, popular tourist place, beach, souvenir shopping, restaurant, night club
• Kamyshlinskiy waterfall - 26 km, tour includes 2 km hike and motor boat ride
• Chemal - popular tourist destination, includes small church (women monastery) on an island, old electric power station, zip line, archeological museum
• Teletskoe lake - 200 km, beautiful lake, tour includes 50 km boat ride on the lake
